Tasting notes

WINEMAKING : 80% tank, 20% French oak.

80% of the grapes were destemmed and

20% whole bunch fermented.

The fermentation was kept at lower temperatures

(24 to 26 degrees) to maintain the fruit aromas.

The extraction of the full body was done over five weeks of maceration.

VINTAGE CONDITIONS : This truly rare vintage is a new benchmark.

The growing season was warm during the day but cool at night,

with an unusually large diurnal swing that led to slow and

even ripening across all varieties while maintaining acidity.

Reds are laden with fruit, yet extremely racy and fresh in feel.

COLOUR : Deep and intense garnet Red Colour.

NOSE : Very Expensive with pleasant notes of blackcurrant and blueberry Jam.

Floral Hints of Peony with minty notes.

PALATE : Rich and structured, this wine will be perfect for cellaring thanks to a huge vintage.

With Ripe red fruits flavours and a hint of pepper,

the mouth is dense with a big amount of soft tannins and some freshness at the finale.
